North East Nurse Practitioner Services

Northeast Nurse Practitioner Services is a newly established service offering medical care to the community of Beechworth and surrounding areas.

Our goal and mission are to provide you with patient centered care that meets your healthcare needs whilst maintaining high quality evidence-based practice.

It is not a replacement for your ongoing medical care with your GP, however it is designed to provide a new level of service to ensure our community has timely access to quality health care.

Care will be delivered by our Nurse Practitioner, Steve Voogt.

Consultation is flexible and can be delivered either in our clinic room, located at 16 Loch Street Beechworth, at your home (Beechworth only) or via telehealth if appropriate.

The Nurse Practitioner role in Australia is relatively new but expanding option in health care delivery. Please view FAQs for all the information you require about the Nurse Practitioners.

NPs have completed additional university study at Master's degree level and are the most independent/autonomous nurses in our health care system.
